You don’t say no to an invite to spend an evening at one of London’s well known bars for cocktails. Saying yes to this invite was the opportunity I needed to throw on a new outfit especially as the item I had been eyeing up for ages finally goes on sale…….need I say more?
I was invited to visit the Artesian Bar* inside one of London’s prestigious hotel; The Langham to try some of their classic and innovative cocktails which has won them ‘Best Named Bar in 2015 ‘. From the picture above, I ordered the PAPO LUCCA from their ‘ Perception’ Menu, made with Bacardi 8, Coconut, Papaya, Peppercorn and Nutmeg. A refreshing and sweet taste, with a bit of spice and packs the right amount of alcohol punch.
The decor of the bar and the hotel -both inside and outside is beautiful, decorated with marble floors, sophisticated-gorgeousness all round and Instagramable at every corner you turn. Mirrors everywhere to triple check yourself and your outfit.
All the sipping of tasty cocktails, eating tasty nibbles and chit-chatting non stop and picking each other brains for upcoming blogging projects meant a quick touch up was needed before I dragged Edmond – CutsForHim Men’s Blog [ Instagram Husband aka real life Boyfriend ] outside for some detailed outfit shots. It was golden hour and I was determined not miss out on great photo opportunities.
This is my favourite skirt up to date. Even the boyfriend approves and was happy to hear it was a bargain. I love the jacquard detail and all the pink and the florals. My favourite part will have to be the high waisted bodice. Fits and sits on the waist perfectly, great for hiding any food belly as it cinches you in. I wore a tulle skirt underneath for more volume. The Pink sheer Top and the black drop earrings were both purchased a few hours before the event. I planned on wearing the black version of the top but later realised the pink would be more suitable and make this outfit even more feminine and fun to wear. I just had to pray they had in stock I as run to H&M on Regent Street.

After this photoshoot, we went back inside for cocktails round 2 as we swoon over the pictures we just took. The lightning and timing were just perfect.
I would highly recommend visiting The Artesian Bar if you’re looking for a new spot for chilled out place for dinner and drinks, then skip your local Pub and head to The Langham. Whilst you’re there, I’ll recommend you to try the Impressive Cocoon Cocktail and for something light, try the Som Tom– a non alcoholic cocktail blend of Papaya, Chilli, Holy Basil, Elderflower and Citrus. Refreshingly good.
