Fenty Beauty Galaxy Collection Lipgloss & Lipstick Review & Swatches

Fenty Beauty released their Holiday Collection last month and being a super fan and still obsessed with everything from their first collection, I ordered 3 of their lip products; two lip glosses and one lipstick from their GALAXY themed collection. In the range, we saw the all glitter 14 shades Eyeshadow Palette, 2-in-1 Glitter Release Eyeliners, Eyeshadow Brush, 4 Cosmic Gloss Lip Glitters and 4 Starlit Hyper-Glitz Lipsticks. So as the title suggests, everything in this range is screaming glitter and more glitter. It’s not for the faint of hearts or those going for a minimal look. These will scream look at me.

I ordered two shades of their Cosmic Gloss Lip Glitters in Plutonic Relationship and Spacesuit and one Starlit Hyper-Glitz Lipsticks in the shade Sci-Fly. I was happy to know they are all the same price of £16 as their Fenty Gloss Bomb from their first collection. I was expecting a price increase since this is meant to be a limited edition holiday collection but well done to the Fenty Team for keeping the prices still in the affordability range. I also received a Fenty Beauty Makeup Bag with my order. It was a nice surprise and a nice little touch from Harvey Nichols.

The packaging of this collection did not disappoint either. The colours are stunning with a holographic twist to match the glitter packed in each tube of lipstick or lipgloss. The glosses comes with a long wand and doe-foot applicator for ease and precise application. The lipsticks are tiny and small enough to carry and fit into any handbag especially in tiny clutch bags for a night out.

The lipgloss comes in a duo chrome Hot Pink with purple and lilac glitter specs. This packs a punch on the lips and its true to its colour in the tube. I didn’t like wearing this on its own but it would be a great lipstick topper when worn with a bright pink or purple matte lipstick.

Cosmic Gloss Lip Glitter – Spacesuit

The one looks peach in the tube but its deceiving. Its more on the pinkier side once swiped on the lips. I was hoping to wear this with my MAC Ravishing Lipstick which is a Peach/Coral Lipstick. It looks like I’ll have to grab the “Supermoon” lipstick to wear this gloss. Again, I don’t see myself wearing this on its own but will be pairing with a pink or peach nude lipstick once I find one.

The texture of these glitter lip glosses are non-sticky and glitter is not chunky either. They come off easily with no glitter pieces left on the lips. They are as long wearing as any other lipgloss. They will last long on the lips as long you’re not eating and drinking every

Starlit Hyper-Glitz Lipstick – SCI-FLY

This was my favourite one out of the three and took me by surprise. The colour is more of a dark brown with plum undertones and the glitter is not too prominent. It glides on smoothly on the lips with no tugging. It has a satin finish and its very long wearing. The colour looks like your typical fall lipstick with deep berry and plum in the tube. I’m so glad I picked this colour, I don’t have anything like this in my collection. I see myself wearing this everyday and not just for the holiday or on special occasions.

I have a video of this coming up on Sunday on my YouTube channel with live swatching in a first impression style video. Be sure to check it out for more on this collection and review. Please subscribe to my channel so you don’t miss this upload.
