H&M Gingham Ruffle Dress

This was one of the outfits I was looking forward to wearing on my last vacay trip. I prayed my missing suitcase would turn up so I could rock this outfit. Thank God my bag arrived just a day later and I did not hesitate on throwing on this get up for a day of walking around the city and visiting the shopping malls in Tel Aviv. The photos for this post were shot at Sarona Market, the equivalent to Bicester Village Designer Outlet here in the UK. Outside the market, you’ll find pretty stand alone houses which housed various designers stores such as Tommy Hilfiger who loved my outfit probably because the colours in this outfit matched their brand.

I needed this dress asap in my summer wardrobe the moment it landed on H&M’s new arrivals list. I was super happy to be able to get my hands one. I took too long to order because of the change in sizes, I used to have the confidence and order anything from their online store without hesitation as I knew it would fit to a T. This was a gamble for me but I went for a size 8, which fit snuggly ( too snuggly perhaps ) around the hips but was too roomy on the Top. Size 6 would have been a no-no and size 10 would have been too big. so bear this in mind when ordering.

Gingham is always super fun and dress comes with ruffles and pockets, its even more fun and cute to wear.

Would you believe this was the first I had worn these mules out since I first posted about them here? Kitten heels are like marmites to others. I on the other hand, I love wearing them. Its neither high heels nor flats. I was concerned walking in these on the cobbles street my result me in ending at the A&E or they might slip off my feet as I walked. You’ll be glad to know, neither of these things happened and was a total delight walking in them. I’m happy they somehow matched my outfit too.

I’m a sucker for pointed shoes and these are fab as they make up for the lack of heel height bur still elongates your legs.  The large velvet bows are so super cute and adds a feminine touch.

When have you not seen me in this hat? Its my summer staple and do not travel without it. It goes with almost any outfit whether casual or smart. It just works and love the navy and red stripe band. Two of my favourite colours.

I honestly couldn’t wear this outfit without throwing in something red so it had to be this small gold chain messenger bag from Zara. It fits the bare necessities i.e. lipstick, card holder, hand sanitizer, hand cream,  facial mist [ best way to keep cool in 35 degrees heat ] and my phone. Finished off the look with a matching hue of red lipstick and black and gold sunglasses.

What do you make of this? Would you rock this on your vacation?

This dress is currently back in stock but not for long so be quick. If not, you can check out this similar style too.
